Outdoor camping stoves have been widely acknowledged for use by travelers. Their effectiveness is stunning. Food can be prepared within minutes which will save the much needed time for rest and tour.

Depending on price and fuel use, there are different categories of outdoor camping stoves. When choosing camping stoves, one should be keen on its fuel type and availability. Buying a gas stove where you will have difficulties refilling it will not be recommendable. Camping stoves are reusable; thus, it is important to get a durable quality. The weight and size of the stove should be properly assessed. Large stoves translate to more luggages for your camping trip, and depending on the number of items to be carried; it may become an unnecessary burden.

Here are some types of fuels that are available for camping stove:-

* Sunlight as source of fuel. Special apparatus are made such that they trap sun light and use it to heat up food stuffs. Although it has major limitations; in that it has to be used in sunny voyages and it considerably takes time to heat up food, it is indeed a good consideration for your outdoor camping.

* Gas stoves are the most common among campers. They are quick to set up and relatively light in weight.

* Charcoal stoves are used in large expeditions where one may also need some warmth. They are good for cooking although they have a great shortcoming of weight

It is important to get the appropriate fuel basing on other factors like number of campers and cooking utensils available.
