On the whole college student credit card application is easy and fast but the use of the cards requires prudence like any other. Because students may not have much money to spend, they are highly encouraged to spend what they can afford. Incentives are offered for proper use of the card but penalties accrue and will certainly affect a student’s ability to obtain more credit cards in future. Even though college student credit cards do not require credit history reference, they are not promising not to use the data collected for other investigative purposes.
