Some of the credit cards for no credit history offer as much benefits as the standard credit cards though circumstances differ. On the whole credit cards for no credit history tend to attract more interests than those with good history.

Another type of credit card for no credit history is the secured credit card which requires the holder to keep some deposit with the bank as a guarantee and the deposit amount determines the credit amount. This is especially useful in circumstances where an individual has had some difficulties with credit cards but wants to work towards rebuilding good credit scores. It requires that one pays all minimum monthly repayments promptly to move up the ladder.

Small retail stores and gas stations are usually more willing to give people a second chance or to give beginners a starting point. It is better to apply for their credit cards and ensure prompt payments of monthly minimum payment requirements to have a chance to continue with them and to build credit scores which may enable one qualify for standard credit cards.

Things have changed a great deal due to increased competition for which reason there are many adverts inviting those with no credit history to apply and there are incentives to that effect.
