Christmas is the time of fun and joy the world over, the atmosphere is full of festivity and to add to that there are lights and decoration everywhere. Earlier the decoration was restricted to simple festoons, Christmas trees with their decorations and simple lights but technology has also added flavor to the Christmas decorations with led rope lights being used the decorations are one better then the next and to add to them we now have music set to which these lights dance.

It all started sometime in 2004 when an electrical engineer from Ohio first created the dancing lights. The idea soon caught on and even Disney land started having annual dancing light display at its Hollywood studio. Christmas lights music are lights which are synchronized with music and they blink in coordination with the music track. This display is controlled by a computer and this show usually consists of more then one track to which the dance is choreographed.

Initially the Christmas lights were managed manually and some music lovers still continue to make their own Christmas lights music. Programming the Christmas lights annually is however a very time consuming process which might take anything from weeks to months to a year. It also requires specialized equipment and technical knowledge. Its no wonder that, most of the times pre-programmed Christmas lights music are preferred over manual ones. There are many manuals and software available online now that guide a layperson to assemble their own set of Christmas lights music.

Christmas lights music are used widely by many departmental stores to draw more crowds during the festive season. There is literally a competition on to be better then the other. Initially these lights were very expensive and not everyone could afford them but with advancement of technology they have become more affordable for even the homeowners to comfortably use them. Moreover popular Christmas songs like jingle bells and many other catchy Christmas carols are incorporated into such lights to attract potential customers.

Music lights are controlled through a circuit board which is connected to the set of lights and it includes an IC (integrated circuit) which contains the music and a whole lot of other technical parts which when properly assembled gives a perfectly beautiful Christmas lights with music integrated in them.

Christmas lights with music are a delight for children and adults alike they automatically are drawn towards them and but of course who would not watch in wonder the lights dance to the sound of music.
