Christmas Net Lights

Christmas is not Christmas until you do the light works. Christmas lighting requires an eye for beauty and nature that will at the same time be economical and mindful of the year to come. Led lighting has luckily provided the right answer to this one with its many varieties of Christmas lighting devices and accessories. Net lights are strings of lights that are interwoven into an intricate spider web of lights of different colors and slightly differing sizes. They are sold with about 10 feet of lead cord. The electric cord connecting the bulbs and the power source is almost invisible to the eye from afar, giving the lights the appearance of floating.

Christmas net lights are best suited for lining the walkways and arcades in the patio. They (the nets) come in a standard size of about six feet length and four feet width, covered with as many mini lights as they can hold that are placed at equal intervals. The mini light bulbs consume less than one watt of electricity if they are in the led category.

With led lighting, Christmas is now a cheap affair that we can all indulge in because the light bulb manufacturers have indulged us in their production of low cost wiring and lighting. The mini lights in the Christmas net will today cost one only a fraction of what they used to cost a few years ago because of led lighting. They can be connected to batteries and still be as good. They are safe; one will not have to mind the babies more than necessary because even if the bulbs are handled with bare hands, they would do no harm since led light bulbs emit no heat. In case one touches an uncovered wiring, there is no fear of electrocution since it is only one watt of electricity. This kind of lighting is recommended for both the artificial and the natural Christmas tree.

The net lights come in a variety of choices. There are the twinkling lights that blink after an interval of time. They are offered in strands of about 15 feet to 80 feet and the lights are arranged at intervals of about six inches. Given their ability to last long, more than 20,000 hours, they are best suited for stretched holiday seasons like Christmas up to the New Year celebrations. They are sold in mini strings that are barely discernible to the eye, with ultra violet protection, making them best suited for outdoor use. Icicles are just lights that look like drops that are placed at intervals of six inches. Each drop is designed to hang in the right way, just like a real drop.
