Heavy machinery equipments are used in a variety of situations and circumstance which require extra ordinary power. They are basically found in mining areas, airports, seaports, commercial construction sites, large long distance transport companies, road and bridge constructions, railway line corporations, and heavy duty transport garages. They are most often involved in moving large loads from one point to another, loading and unloading of trucks, ships and planes, or simply lifting materials to required heights.

Heavy machinery equipments include compaction machines used in ground preparation and road construction. There are motor grades which work to level the ground before it can be compacted. You find bull dozers which do ground breaking work and load trucks. Excavators are designed to basically dig large trenches or dig deeper into the ground. Heavy forklifts are used for handling sea containers. Large cranes are used basically in handling the other heavy machineries incase of breakdowns or accident but are also used in lifting building materials to higher floors on construction sites. Heavy machinery equipments are also used in emergency operations to rescue people and facilitate reconstruction. Probably the heaviest of machinery equipments are found in mining industry where one will meet super tracks and super loaders involved in the movement of huge amounts of sand and soil.

Heavy machinery equipment require very professional training to handle. They offer some of the best well paying jobs in countries like Canada as these skills are not very common. They are largely monstrous in their sizes and ability which when used correctly does a lot of valuable work but can cause serious property damage and deaths if not handled properly. These machines are by nature designed to travel very short distance as they do their highly intensive functions.

Heavy machineries come with the latest sophistication in technology and are usually very expensive owned only by companies and big organizations. Since their components are heavy or complicated, they are often equipped with fluke equipments which help detect problem areas to make repair work easier. Their mechanical systems are designed to alert users of potential problem before the problem stalls operations. They use a lot of high compression hose pipes and most often these are the parts that need to be monitored and replaced accordingly. With proper service these equipments are durable and do not break down easily. They are great energy consumers and guzzle diesel mercilessly. But they are awesome to work with or watch performing herculean tasks.
