There is no doubt that bathrooms are the place in our home which needs to be refreshed more often than any other room. Averagely, an American household remodels or refreshes the bathroom in the house or apartment one time every year. That is really often, especially when compared to the frequency of remodeling some other rooms- the living room once in 5 years, the bedroom once in 8 years, and the kitchen once in 10 years!

However, you probably are probably smart enough to figure it out that remodeling a bathroom is not an easy task at all. I know that many people think that I am wrong because there is nothing special- installing some new fixtures, changing the tiles, installing a sink and so on.

Unfortunately, things are not so easy at all. There is a lot of stuff which you need to keep in mind when remodeling your bathroom. Most of the people think that remodeling a bathroom involves only changing the main components- tiles, sink, shower and toilet dish. However, that is not true at all since remodeling could be successful even if only some small details in your bathroom are changed. And the opposite is also true- even if you make some radical changes it is still not a guarantee that the result will be satisfactory.

Well, the first thing which you need to do is making the decision how much money you want to spend on the remodeling. That is a key decision as it will determine your future actions as far as the remodeling of your bathroom is concerned. We will take the two possibilities and will let you know what you should do: if you have only a little money squirreled away and if you can afford to spend more!

We will start with the first case- when you cannot spend more than $2000-$3000 for your bathroom remodeling. Unsurprisingly, you cannot get new tiles but you can still make it look different. You can get a new sink or maybe just buy chrome traditional taps which will make the bathroom look in a very different, and probably, more stylish way. You could also install new ceiling fixtures which will definitely make your bathroom look as if it had been fully remodeled.

And if you have some more money and are ready to spend up to $10.000, then you can do whatever comes to your mind. Personally, I would recommend you to change the tiles, the toilet dish, get a new sink and, of course, change the ceiling fixture. All the will probably cost you less than $10.000 but it will look like you have built a new bathroom. It sounds great, don’t you think so?
