Get all the debris that you do not need even as you get black and white tiling for the floor. Mix them yup to form a pattern and get the French feeling of having dimension and space. If it worked for them, why not for you? You can also get brightly colored wallpaper and pictures for your kitchen. You can make them yellow to bring about an added feeling of buoyancy. Make them a different shade of yellow altogether so that they do not fade in to the walls that you had already painted yellow.

Get the right accessories to complement the look that you have created for your room. For example, you could get a nice set of French clocks and hang them on the walls or you could get pictures of sleek French beauties serving coffee and the like. While you are still at it, get a long sleek table that has got a French look to it and put right there. Accompany it if you can with smooth wrought iron chairs that will give your room a more French look and feeling.
