There are so many designs for the kitchen and the bathroom in the 21st century. These two rooms in the home are interrelated in that they are places of relaxation. You can let off your steam in the bath after a long days work and spend the rest of the time having some great catching up in the kitchen. These rooms have a lot to do with improving the good mood of the person and so they should look as such- rooms that have the potential to lift the moods of the user.

A lot has been said in kitchen bath design news regarding this but they all gravitate to one point that both the kitchen and the bath need to be areas of relaxation and have to provide that. This means that they need to have light colored walls. The so called baby colors work best for these rooms except the natural colors should be in the kitchen. It would be a little absurd to have the kitchen colored in purple. Preserve the light yellows and cream for the kitchen. You can use white which makes the kitchen even brighter and bigger.

The kitchen should have as much space as possible for the activities of the kitchen. The floor plan should leave enough space for cooking and walking. The storage area should be below the countertops and out of your way. If you have a lot more to store, then you can have an extra set of kitchen cabinets above the countertops to increase the space. It matters a lot where you put your kitchen sink in your design. Most kitchens have a sink below the window of the kitchen which should be large to let in as much light as possible. The sink should allow the sink to drain away appropriately as well. Place the essential items like the cooker near your place of work and the less used items like the fridge further away. The arrangement should depend on the practicability of the use of these items.

As usual, the kitchen should have enough working space and more so if it is a restaurant. The G design has been known to have a lot of space to spare and this is favored by restaurant and large kitchens. Home kitchens with the G design have incorporated a large countertop in the middle of the kitchen to increase the space. This countertop could be used for cooking or dining.
