Small Bathroom Design Ideas

All people who have remodeled their bathroom at least once know that the most difficult part about the remodeling is choosing the right way to redecorate the bathroom which also involves purchasing the right bathroom accessories and bathroom furniture. Unfortunately, that problem is even more serious when a small bathroom is being redecorated. The reason is that the people should not only care about making their bathroom look beautiful but they should also try to make it look bigger.

I am sure that only people who have remodeled a small bathroom realize how many efforts, time and money it takes. Unfortunately, there are many people who cannot handle the two tasks and hardly manage to redecorate the bathroom in a nice way. However, if you are also one of the people who do not have a big or at least middle-sized bathroom, then this article is your rescuer. You will be given a lot of practical tips which will help you not only make your bathroom look nice but roomier also!

So, let’s start with the right choice for the place meant for taking showers. If your bathroom is small, then you should definitely get a shower stall which is still known as a shower cabin. It is really not very beautiful to have such a “machine” in your bathroom but it will definitely save some room. And let’s also not forget the fact that there are some quite interesting shower stalls which could literally be considered as machines- they are equipped with a radio player, TV and even with a phone! Unsurprisingly, that alternative is quite expensive if you would like a well-equipped shower cabin as it may cost more than $2500. Of course, you could get a simple shower stall which costs less than $100.

But if that also seems expensive to you, then you could simply purchase a bathroom curtain which costs no more than $15. You can install a curtain rod on the bathroom ceiling and then hang the curtain up. It is a very cheap way for “building” your shower-place. Another interesting idea is putting a bath in your bathroom. A bath in a small bathroom- you think that I am crazy, don’t you? Actually, it could be also a smart idea for solving the problem with the limited space. You can just place the bath on the place under the shower. Of course, it will be a little inconvenient because you should be standing up in a bathroom every time when you want to take a shower. We must admit that is a bit weird but at least you will be able to immerse into the hot bath when you feel tired and exhausted!

Of course, you could pay attention to some other things in your bathroom. For example, you could purchase a smaller toilet dish which is installed to the wall but not to the floor. I can assure you that will save a little space also. You can also make a compromise and get a smaller sink and a small bathroom vanity which you can place under the sink. This way your vanity will practically use no room because the space under the sink is not used anyhow!
