The kitchen is a place where a woman spends most of her time. A lot of time goes into preparing three meals a day for a family and that responsibility is usually on the women of the house. In some houses, there are tables set up in the kitchen to make the atmosphere in the kitchen more casual and open. Most kitchens now have incorporated these things while keeping in mind the practicality of having enough space to accommodate the table in modern kitchens.

A way to liven up the kitchen is by adding a little color in the chair covers. One must pay attention to the fabric used, as you do not want to use something that stains too easily and have to keep changing it. Having chair covers on the seating helps by protecting it from damage as all you have to do if something falls on it is change the cover. In addition, as they are not very expensive it is most probably the cheapest way to make your kitchen look different. Moreover, it helps cheer you up and not make the room look boring. You can experiment with fabrics, colors, shapes and even sizes.

Keep in mind that though people do not spend a lot of time at a dining table, they would still like to be as comfortable in a kitchen table as in a dining table. If your kitchen is in the basic shades of beige or white, a rust orange chair will make a huge difference and add much needed color. However, be sure to use colors that you like and not something too over the top that you will get tired of. But then again if you do not like it after a while, you can always change it, as it won’t cost too much. It is a lot easier to play around with the fabrics rather than changing the chairs or counter tops.

Fabrics that have cotton blends would be the best fabrics as they will not crumple after a couple of washes and come in a variety of shades. Prints can also make huge differences in case you are not too fond of prints but also do not want single shades you could look at abstracts. Your local tailor can stitch the chairs and you do not have to hire an interior designer or buy expensive readymade covers
