A bar is not all about having fancy glasses, but having the right equipments to make various drinks and delicious cocktails is also necessary. Having the right equipments in the bar makes bar-tending fun and enjoyable. By keeping yourself well-informed about the utility of every tool will impress you guest as well. Here is a list of equipments which are important while catering to guests at the bar. So get acquainted with all the equipments before you start making a refreshing drink.

Bar Spoon - This long-handed spoon is used basically to mix drinks when you are unable to reach tall tumblers, they are also used to mix drinks directly in jugs and for crushing herbs, sugar and other ingredients.

Blender - These tall blenders are used for crushing ice, mixing drinks and to bring froth to the drinks.

Cocktail Shaker - This three piece equipment is essential for every bar. It contains a base for placing ice, a strainer, and a top. Some cocktail shakers come with a separate strainer. A cocktail shaker helps mix drinks quickly.

Bottle opener - It is indispensable for unscrewing a bottle.

Fruit squeezer - Fruit juices that are freshly squeezed are sometimes necessary in cocktails, so always keep it within your reach.

Measures - Measures are needed to pour alcohol in the right proportion.

Mixing glass - This large beaker glass is used for stirring cocktails when the guest does not like it shaken.

Strainer - It is commonly used for segregating the fruit juice from the pulp.

Nutmeg Grater - It is used to grate nutmegs and other essentials on cocktails.

Ice crusher- An ice crusher comes handy when the blender does not crush the ice inefficiently or when the blender is being used for something else.

Chiller bucket - are useful for keeping bottles chilled. Of course you can always keep the bottles in the fridge, but the problem arises when the fridge door is opened continuously for some reason or the other.

Muddler - This long stick with a bulbous end helps crush sugar.

Sharp knife - With citrus fruits being used in most cocktails a sharp knife comes handy for halving and peeling its skin.

Canelle knife - It is used for decorating and garnishing the glass with fruits.

Straws and cocktail sticks - Used purely for decorative purpose and for adding the finishing touches.

Egg whisker - to make the froth from egg whites before mixing it will drink.

Ice-bags - can be used for keeping various shapes of ice. It can also be used for crushing ice.
