Since most of them are downloaded online, at a fee of course, it would be smart to ask to view other works that has been edited with the same software. Before you download, make sure that the software makers have authorized it as it may lead to violation of copyright law and hence prosecution. Sometimes the whole works may be banned and you may cost your production house a lot of money in paid damages.

The other equipments may include computers that are used to do the actual editing works. The editing software are downloaded into the computer and the camera hardware is inserted. The computers that are likely for this job need to be up to date and must have a high memory. The television monitors are used for previewing after the completion of post production. These tools should be of high quality and good to allow for correction of any mistakes.

Post production equipment might not be that common but it is readily available for those people who work in that field. Production houses always have some second hand machines to sell but one should be careful with these as they are highly obsolete. A computer might be fashionable today, but outdated in two years time. It is advisable that one buys new ones as they go at friendly cost.
