Living outdoor can be quite complicated or even interesting depending on the prevailing circumstances. For some people, living out door in the garden can be fun and may be chosen as a recreational activity. Another vital point to take into consideration is the terrain of the ground where you are living out in the garden. If the ground is situated in a basin like place or a plain, it would be highly exposed to risks such as flooding incase of heavy down pours over night. Such a situation would be very disastrous if not handled in good time. To be more precise, it would be wise to select ground that is slightly sloppy to avoid any possibility of flooding incase there are rains at an unexpected time.

As much as the areas should be slightly sloppy, the soil profile of the area should also be an important aspect when setting up a sight to live in the garden. There are types of soils that absorb too much water and retain it for a long time a factor that may lead to mud slides if the area is too sloppy. This therefore calls for some clear survey of the area in order to determine the viability of living out in the garden within the specific area. In cases of emergency such as earthquakes and other natural calamities that may force people to live out in the gardens, it may be difficult to take all the necessary precautions to ensure that the safety of the residents is well taken care of.

Whether you are living out in the garden for fun or due to circumstances beyond your control, it is important to observe most of the above conditions in order to ensure that the event does not turn tragic. Lastly, it would be very advisable to set up a small campfire at the sight especially during the night as it helps in keeping off some wild animals that may stray into the garden.
