4. When it comes to the cold season, heavier clothes are needed. Choose those that are made of cotton as it creates a perfect insulation to the body. Make sure that the children put on vests or t-shirts inside their shirts to keep the upper part of the body warm. To prevent loss of heat, cover their heads with warm cotton hats and ensure that their hands are covered in mittens to keep the fingers warm.

5. Do not forget to have socks in your house. This is very essential in keeping the feet and toes warm. A pair of warm shoes should not be left out either. Also buy scarves to cover the kids necks. Water proof coats and jackets will be required if the weather is rainy or snowy.
