A lot has been said about the team building and more and more attention is paid to it. The reason is that it had been proved that when there is a strong team spirit among a group of workers, productivity increases dramatically. Basically, there are two types of team building activities in existence: the first one is the group of indoor team building activities and the other is the group of the outdoor activities. A good idea about an outdoor team building activity is the treasure hunt. All people in the group have one aim- find the treasure, which means that they all need to work together so as to achieve their goal. The research says that it really helps a lot when it is all organized well. Of course, there may be some fights which may appear but learning how to overcome them is also an important part of the team building.

And what is probably one of the best outdoor team building activities is the sport. However, do not think that all kind of sports are proper for team building. Just on the contrary, sports like volleyball, basketball, football and many others could be a cause for even fights in the group. But what must be said is that those sports are only harmful for the team building when the group is divided into two teams and they take part in the competition. What an employer should do is organize a sport even where the entire group should be in the first team and the other team should be another group of people from another company for example. Such activities are organized by the New York magazine- the first team are the workers from one magazine and the other team from the other as magazines are usually competitors. That is probably the best possible way a group of people working together to become a real and strong team.

The importance of team building is not underestimated any more, which is something really good. However, what everyone needs to know is that the outdoor team building activities are extremely useful but they need to be organized at least once a year so that there can be permanent results.
