Outdoor work clothing depends on the weather. You have to wear warm on a cold day or some light clothes on hot day. There is one simple way to keep you warm known as layering. This simply means wearing different small clothes on top of the other. This traps the heat of your body and protects you from cold when working outdoor. It becomes difficult for the rain or snow to reach your body. When you can not bear the heat, you can simply remove some of the layers or add them when it is too cold. The best materials for layering include silk, wool and nylon. Avoid cotton because it gets wet when you sweat causing you to feel cold.

Make sure that the clothes you wear next to your body keeps you warm and can allow your limbs to move freely. Too tight clothes will not let you work properly. Get the right size for yourself, and your performance at work will not be affected. You will also be comfortable throughout the day.

Protect yourself more by adding another layer of clothes on top of the first one. This will make sure that you are properly insulated. Avoiding cold will keep you healthy and it is better to spend on warm clothes than medicines.

Put on a heavy sweater or jacket and cover your head with a warm hat. Put on long trousers to keep your legs warm. Make sure that you also put on some layers on lower part of your body; do not just protect the upper part. To make it complete, wear warm boots and put on a pair of gloves to keep your hands warm.
