Propane Burner Grill
What is the first thing that comes to mind every time your propane burner grill breaks down? Most people assume that the only thing they can do with a broken grill is dispose of it and purchase a new one. The truth of the matter is that there is always a cheaper option of solving your problem. You can opt to replace the broken burner with a new one. This decision will save you a large percentage of the money that would have gone into buying a new propane burner grill.
Next, you will find a list of simple steps on how to go about replacing a broken burner in your grill.
i. The first step towards replacing a broken burner is to inspect it. A burner it the component found at the base of the grill. It is the tool that is responsible for emitting the grill’s flame. A burner looks like two aircraft noses placed back to back. A good grill burner will usually last for a long time. A burner’s life span is determined by how frequent it is used and also the number of times it is cleaned. If the burner looks worn out, then it is probably the reason why your grill doesn’t work.
ii. Before you embark on retrieving the burner, make sure that all the valves are disconnected. Then proceed to unscrew the burner from the base of the grill. If the burner is in very bad condition, you will be able to break it off.
iii. After you have removed the old worn out burner, you need to replace it with a new one. You can find new burners stocked in any retail store. Incase you do not find the burner you want from the counters; you can always look for it on the internet. After you have been able to purchase a new functional burner, you can install it into the grill burner. You will go about installing it in the same manner you used in removing the old burner. Make sure you secure the burner to the bottom of the grill. The burner’s inlet should be facing the propane valve.
iv. After you have installed the new burner, reconnect the valve. Slowly open the propane tank and try to ignite a flame. It is important to remember to clean the grill burner every time it is used. This helps increase the burner’s lifespan and keep it in good condition.
