There is a new model of stainless steel propane grills: the ones that come with infrared technology heaters. If you are a technology junkie and like using the latest and the most efficient forms of heating food, this is the perfect heating method for you. You don’t have to be a technology junkie to fall in love with infrared technology. These stainless steel propane infrared grills have found their way into restaurants but there are some models that have been made especially for the home where the amount of cooking is less and needs to be done faster.

The burner of the stainless steel gas grill uses infrared technology to heat a ceramic tile, which then heats the food to be cooked. The temperature that the grill can reach is higher than a conventional grill and therefore it is the most convenient and the fastest form of cooking out there. The infrared heating heats the ceramic tile evenly which in turn distributes the heat evenly onto the food to be cooked.

I cannot explain the stainless steel gas grill with infrared heaters any further without making a comparison of it with the conventional one. The latter uses heated air to cook and the heating is done by propane gas. The former, which is the infrared technology and propane gas as well, heats the food directly using infrared radiation. It is cheaper and cleaner to use infrared technology which is far much better than the charcoal that most barbecue specialists like using.

The infrared technology also helps the grill to light faster and can be put off as easily as it was lit up. It cooks evenly, unlike charcoal which lights up one part of the cooking and leaves the other. Being that it cooks faster, it therefore uses less propane gas and reduces its consumption in the long run. You are going to use your propane tank for a longer time with the infrared technology than otherwise.

It is easier to clean it up as it is made of stainless steel. The material does not rust and therefore lasts longer. Stainless steel does not require any special cleaners; a little bit of soap and warm water is enough to remove the grease from the cooking. Although it is more expensive, it is bound to save you lots of time and energy in the long run.
