Rv Propane Heaters

Recreational vehicles are found large in number; they almost have everything like a well-established home. So when it comes to heater, a conventional heater cannot be set up in a recreational vehicle or in other terms RV. An alternate method to set up a heater in a RV is to use propane based heater. Propane is a powerful form of fuel which can be used for various purposes.

There are many types of RV heaters which are based on propane as the main fuel that are available in the stores today. There are many types, designs and brands of RV heaters available today. They can be classified even based on the power of the heater. The more powerful a heater is the more fuel it consumes. Hence these are heaters installed in a RV they are designed to consume less fuel and give more output.

These heaters are usually made of aluminum or magnesium; most of the heaters are designed with a vent. The design is made in such a way that the heater uses the atmospheric air and propane as fuel to run the heater. Hence a vent is required to send the exhaust gas and for other purposes, earlier designs of the RV heater required a window to be kept open in the RV. But in recent years there are even ventless propane based RV heaters. The ventless RV heaters are costlier when compared to the conventional RV heaters which come with a vent.

In a RV propane heater, oxygen from the atmosphere is used in the process of combustion with the fuel which is propane. This process leaves out the unhealthy gas carbon monoxide; this is sent out the RV using an exhaust chamber. Propane tanks of different types and pressure can be used in a RV heater; some of the recent types of RV heaters use the exhaust gas again in the process of combustion.

RV propane heaters can be bought for a price ranging from 200-500$ depending upon the capacity, the brand and other factors. The ventless heaters are available from the price of 300$, they are available in attractive colors and designs. Propane is the primary fuel in many kinds of RV heaters, because they are reliable and they produce enough combustion power to heat up a big room. A buyer can choose the Recreational vehicle propane heater based on the size and capacity of the RV.
