Mr Heater Propane Forced Air
Master propane forced air heater which is also known as torpedo heaters or salamander heaters. This kind of forced air heater is apt for construction sites which have an easy access to the propane tank.
A forced air basically means a system for which the medium for transferring heat is air. These systems rely on vents, plenums and ductwork as a mode of air distribution which is different from the original air conditioning and heating systems. The air from various huge return vents is carried to a central air handler by the return plenum for re-heating. A supply plenum then directs air from this central unit to all the rooms which the system is automated to heat. Irrespective of the type, all the air handlers contain a blower, heat exchanger, an air filter, heat element, heat coil and various other controls. Just like any other type of central heating machine, thermostats are put to use to control these forced air heating systems.
Forced air heating systems is probably amongst those types which are most commonly used and installed in the Northern part of America. It is not very common in the European countries, specifically in United Kingdom – here it is typically known as the “warm air” heating system.
Propane forced air heaters is that type of gas heater which could be found. These types of heaters employ an electric-powered fan that blow the warm air out in to an area which means its immediate surroundings. Sometimes they are very noisy because of the usage of fans. Another important thing to be considered with these types of heaters is that need to be kept clean as dust builds up on these heaters. The speed at which the heat spreads is faster as compared to the convection heaters. However these forced air heaters consume additional electricity while inducing the warm air across the specified area at a faster rate. Propane forced air heaters are mainly used to heat up small areas.
Supply ducts which are located on the outer side of the area will possibly temper the cold air as and when it infiltrates the area and reduces any kind of discomfort to minimal for the air flown.
The only disadvantage these kind of ductworks take up a lot of space however if installed by an experienced person, there be will be minimum space occupied for the ductwork or not even an extra space.
