Battery motion lights are those which work on batteries and do not need manual switching on or switching off to make it function. It is slightly different from the usual lights that we see and the following are the points which would tell us the unique features and how unusual the light actually is from others.

1. This light works on batteries and does not need electricity. So there is no impact on your electricity bill due to this light.

2. You do not require a person to literally switch the light on or switch it off. It has motion sensing technology and it goes on or off depending on the motion around.

3. This is portable and can be taken along with you anywhere you want to.

4. It uses 4 AA batteries so there is no need for using A/C.

5. It goes on as you get closer to the bulb and switches off automatically a few seconds after you leave.

6. It does not work during the day as the daylight sensor prohibits it from working. The photo sensor in the bulb ensures that the light works only when there is darkness around.

7. These batteries lights could be placed anywhere in your room. It either could be placed on a table or could be mounted to a wall.

8. It can be used in many places and for many purposes. Places like basements, closets, storage bins, when on camping, etc.

9. Students can use this light for studying purposes on their study table. It would come in very handy as they would not be required to switch it on or off during sessions and be able to concentrate on their studies instead.

10. There is also an alarm with the light. If there is any movement detected within its vicinity or range then there would be an alarming sound given by the battery. It is an option and you can either have the sound as an alarm or the light as a detector.

11. This is completely weatherproof and can be used in any weather condition, indoors or outdoors; on your doors, porches, etc.

12. It can detect motion upto twenty five feet away, so there is no need to stand or sit close to the bulb in order to make it work or function.

13. It has a long lasting life and the four batteries that come along with it would last upto one year if used properly and normally.
