Low voltage track lighting can be applied, whether you are building a new home or want to upgrade the track lighting you currently have in the house. There are several advantages of low voltage track lighting, the greatest one being that they lower your energy bills by a large percentage. Low voltage track fixtures mostly use MR16 or MR11 bulbs. You can use bulbs that give off wide beam angles or small ones. You can also use a combination of both small and large beam angles, which enables both specific and general lighting.
