When you have visitors coming to your office, please do not take them for granted.

Only the paint or the décor or the airconditioning are not the only criteria to make your visitor comfortable. Equal attention needs to be paid to the quality of the chairs that you select for your visitors and how comfortable they are. After all, your visitors will be waiting for you and if the wait is going to be a fairly long, the more comfortable he is, the better impression will he get of you and your office and also he will be in a better frame of mind when his turn comes to meet you.

If you really care for the well being of your visitors, you would take the trouble of actually sitting on some chairs before you make your selection – so even, if you are looking at some websites, before you make the final purchase, it would be worth the pains to actually go to the nearest store and try the one which you have shortlisted.

You will also have to keep in mind, the space that you have in your waiting area for visitors, the colour background, the number of visitors which you are likely to encounter and also the type of visitors – whether, elderly, young, middleaged etc. Obviously, if space is a constraint, you will have to choose one which does not occupy too much space since you would like to accommodate as many office visitor chairs as possible. The idea being, that all your visitors do get a place to sit, as far, as possible. This becomes especially important if yours is a busy office and you will be having many visitors every day.

For office visitor chairs, it is better that the option for adjusting the height and depth of the seat is made known to visitors since once visitors begin doing that, it may incovenience the next visitor - but if the cost is not too much more, one could keep that option so it could be used for someone who really needs the chair to be adjusted and prefereably when there are not too many people waiting.What would be sensible is to make an intelligent selection, based on the type of clientele which you will be getting –you could take the advice of the sales personnel before you make your final choice.

It is better that you choose office visitor chairs which are a little sturdy and not very delicate – the reason being since there will be many different types of people who will be using them everyday, the wear and tear will naturally be quite a lot.
