These should be well secured to the whole body of the rocking chair and should be strong enough to carry your weight. The angle at which the chair will rock the sitter should be moderate, and not too much as to make you fall down and neither too little as not to make a difference with a normal chair You should clean it once in a while and more often if it stays outside. Be sure that you clean it correctly so as not to reduce its lifespan in the process.
