For residential outdoor lighting, despite what kind of lighting fixture has been selected, the main aim is to provide light, but at reduced costs. Investing in incandescent bulbs is considered unwise. Sure, purchasing bulbs is cheap, but when replacements have to be done every so often, it becomes annoying. Led lights may cost more, but they reduce the needs for replacements since they are extremely durable. Besides, they consumer lesser power meaning you save a couple of dollars on the power bill.
