Online Credit Report Dispute

Online credit report dispute is becoming more rampant in the world today. More and more people are opting this as a better way of handling their credit disputes. It may seem convenient to use this method, but it is also advisable to solve your disputes by sending credit dispute letters via certified mails.

Online credit report dispute is a good method but it will be more like doing just half of the work for the concerned credit bureaus. This will also look like you are trying to impute the credit dispute directly into their credit system.

All the employees of the credit bureau do is to code your dispute. This is done using a two-digit code into a given category. When you do this yourself, then it means that is when you enter the information on their online form. This later will be the code that they will give to the creditor of the disputed item.

The response is simply done electronically which means that the credit bureau does completely nothing. Everything is automated and the only human input is you. It is not your work to work for the bureaus. It does not benefit you in any way. It does not cost you much if you choose to mail your dispute letter via certified mail. You only spend close to $3-$4. Am sure this small amount is far much worth while trying to fix your credit report disputes.

When using online methods in dealing with online credit report disputes, you may assume you are saving time and money, but the truth is that you are helping the credit bureau employees to save time (their own time). You are saving the creditor time as well. It does not do you any good to assume someone else’s work yet you won’t even be paid for it. As long as your credit dispute goes through, they do not care.

If you decide to send a credit dispute online, chances are that you will receive the feedback the following day, but even using certified mail chances are that you will also receive feedback the following day. If you really value your credit reports, I think it is a better idea to mail. It is so amazing how some people send their online credit report disputes then spend the whole day cursing why it took two days to reply. It is more convenient to just make your reports and walk to the post office; at least you won’t be doing somebody else’s work.
