This offers a great opportunity for making cost savings and avoiding many contractual agreements. Many vendors for the used equipment offer testing and maintenance to ensure equipment is sold in stable and working conditions. Even though return are allowed for the used equipment, on average returns are only at the rate of about 2%.

The opportunities and the convenience for acquiring the network equipment have therefore proved beneficial to all. Telephone companies in particular whose investments in equipment can be quite huge have also been able to use the strategies to cut down costs. They have for instance been able to purchase used equipment or even jointly share network masts on contractual terms for huge cost savings. Network equipment and its practical acquisition options will therefore still continue to favor more growth in communications and related industries.
