The fact that the equipment has been used should not make you settle for any type out there. It is obvious that the equipment has depreciated in value but the new value should not be less than 50%. Get a valuer to assess the value of the item before you buy it. Most of the used equipments sell for a fraction of the original price to cover for the depreciation. This means that the price should not be more than the new item. The used item should be in working condition and in good shape. Usually, the smaller the equipment the easier it is to find a used equipment of its kind. Make sure that the used equipment has all the qualities of the new equipment except for the quality alone; which should be less in used equipment.
