A chemistry laboratory is bound to contain lots of chemicals. For keeping these chemicals safely and to carry out the different lab activities, lots of equipments are needed. These equipments can prove to be costly as they are needed in large numbers. A wise decision would be to buy used equipments. Now, let us take a brief moment to discuss about the different used chemistry products.

Beakers are used in multiple situations. They are used to hold chemicals during chemical processes. Chemicals are heated in a beaker. Used beakers can be purchased as long as there are no cracks in it.

Bottles are used to store different chemicals in a laboratory. Some chemicals need to be preserved in air tight bottles. So, there are different types of bottles available. Bottles can also be used for mixing chemicals.

Bunsen burners are the next useful chemistry equipment. Most of the processes in a chemistry laboratory require heating chemicals. A Bunsen burner can also be used to test different salts. Some salts give different color when exposed to flames. Care should be taken while using this equipment as this used a highly inflammable gas.

A pipette of pre-defined measurement is used to measure and pour that particular measure of chemical. Generally, a 20ml pipette is widely used in laboratories. It can be used to measure chemicals in multiples of 20ml.

A burette is used in titrations. It is used to measure accurate amount of chemical that is consumed. Titration is the basic process in any chemistry lab and so this equipment is of much use.

A funnel is used to pour chemicals into containers without spilling it. A funnel can be used not only in chemical laboratories but in any place where transferring liquid to a container is involved. A funnel can be made of plastics or of glass.

A stir rod sometimes known as stirrer is used to assist the process of mixing chemicals. Sometimes, when two chemicals are mixed, aggressive stirring is required in order to get the desired result. For this purpose, a stir rod is used.

A test tube is used to hold small amounts of chemicals during chemical processes. It is sometimes used for measuring purpose. A pipette of 20ml capacity can be used to measure chemicals in multiples of 20ml.

Most of these chemistry equipments are made of glass and while buying used equipments, care should be taken to ensure that none of them are cracked or broken.
