In order to offer quality assurance people thought you had to get an unbiased opinion in which more than one product is tested in an empirical manner. Software quality assurance testing is no different from any other product quality assurance testing. Software quality assurance testing just tells you what the person holding that job title will be doing.

The idea is that in an objective manner from an independent source the software will be tested issues. The person will need to run the software through a number of tests by implementing the software. Test techniques are not limited to just the execution of the program and examining it for software bugs. Software quality assurance testing as a validation process has three key aspects to test.

The first software quality assurance testing protocol will make sure the software meets any business or technical requirements. These requirements may be designed and developed through the company you are working for or it could be the design of a company the software company designed the program for. To simplify this statement a business may approach a software development company for a new security program. The software development company creates and you test it.

Secondly, in software quality assurance testing, a tester is looking to see if the software will work as expected. This means the program must load correctly, be usable, and not throw anything in the path of the user that could be a bug. It happens quite often that a few bugs will be found during the software quality assurance testing.

The third section of software quality assurance testing will examine the implementation with the same characteristics. In other words, can someone start the software on the computer system it will be used on as well as the testing computer? Most often, the computer running the test is a little more sophisticated than your typical home computer, which could directly affect how the program will run. If it passes these three features, the software will be released to the public or company who wanted the software designed for use. Software quality assurance testing is done after the requirements are defined and coding is processed.
