Volley ball is a popular game, and well loved and well played by the volley ball aficionados. There are 2 different types of Volley ball. One which is played out doors and the other type of Volley ball played indoors. Now if you ever ask the volley ball aficionados about their favourite type of volley ball game, it will sure be difficult for them to answer. The simple reason being that both the types of volley ball has its own sets of rules and their very own charm. So this fact makes the decision of selection between the 2 different types of volley ball, quite a difficult task for the volley ball players and volley ball aficionados.

Now all that has been said about the love of these volley ball aficionados for the game, the next query arising in the minds of the spectators would be-What exactly is the difference between both the types of the games? There is a whole lot of difference; any volley ball aficionado will tell you that. But the major piece of information about the difference is the variation in the set. Now we all have watched and enjoyed the volley ball aficionados playing the game, either directly on the field or on the televisions. So by far we all know that the set is entirely different in both the games.

The major difference in the set is that the rule for holding the ball is quite different while playing outdoor volley ball. The players are permitted to keep a hold on the volley ball for a much longer period of time when compared to the indoor variety of the game. The rule is altered for the out door volley ball with just a single thing in mind, that is the set of the ball. It is usually observed that the out door volley ball game entails spinning of the volley ball. But do not be under the impression that the spinning is under the scrutiny of the rules of the game- It is not. The spinning actually means that the sets were not clean at all. The rule of out door volley ball does not take in to account; the number of the rotations, only the set has to be clean.

The technique of playing the outdoor volley ball with a clean set is definitely not easy. But what you need is just a small amount of patience and lots of love for the game. Once you have both the things in place you can essentially learn all the techniques and become an expert volley ball player your self.
