It is also essential to place the propane tank at a distance of 100-150 feet from the road, because in times of filling the gas the truck which provides the gas has a hose of length 150 feet. The 1000 gallon propane tank weighs about 1750lbs.

There are service providers who can install the propane tanks in houses, the tank can be bought at a full price or it can be availed as for a lease. The tank can be placed in underground and also at ground level; it is good to fence the tank when it is kept at ground level. The propane tank has got a regulator at the opening; there is also a gauge that is attached to some kinds of propane tanks.
