There are a lot of ways to go about protecting your wooden patio furniture. Whichever way that you decide to go though, cleaning is mandatory and you have to do it on a regular basis. Every year you will need to rent a pressure washer and using a mild soap give your wooden patio furniture a good cleaning. Once it is clean you might want to put some protector on it. They come in both oil and water bases and both choices have their good and bad points. Protectors also have ingredients in them that will give your wood mold protection, or UV protection.
